Busy Busy Busy!

That is what life is these days. Time, days, months flying on by. It's crazy! Tyler is almost 5 months old now. He is growing so much and fast. It makes me so sad to think he's not my little baby anymore. He has started eating veggies and drinks out of a sippy cup. Most days he puts his self to sleep. He will play in his jumper roo for hours. (his early Christmas present his grandma got him when we where in CO for Thanksgiving) Teething 24/7. Then there's his attitude that grows by the day and temper. lol I love him so so much. We are still in Kansas. The story of my life. But the end is coming soon. At least I hope. So I hope everyone is doing good.

No Sleep = Grumpy

So for whatever reason my son decided he didn't want to sleep last night. He was up all night long. Which didn't make me happy. It was the first time ever. He has never done that before. Let's hope tonight goes better. I hope he don't have sleep problems like me. Some nights I get to where I can't sleep and are up all night. But I don't know if that can be a problem for a 3 month old. hmmm

So the weather has been great. Last weekend we enjoyed the day out. We went to a little pumpkin patch. Went threw a hay maze and picked out a pumpkin all that fun stuff. Now October is over and the going is going to get started. We have something going every weekend from now till the new year. It is crazy. But I am looking forward to it all. I need to get off and make a list for retreat. Which is this weekend. Can't wait!

Another

So maybe I have learned to balance my time right. And are back on track. This month has been so none stop it's crazy. And the months to come seem just as busy. With making plans for holidays and church activities there is no time. But oh well I wouldn't really know what to do otherwise. Tyler is getting bigger and bigger. He is now 3 months old. It just seems like yesterday I was having him. Time goes by way to fast. It makes me sad to see him growing up so much. He is now teething none stop it seems. And wants to stand up 24/7 and loves taking baths. He grabs whatever is in his reach. And for the first time the other day he sat in a high chair *tear*. Oh and best of all he sleeps all night long. Well thats it for now.

Hello!

Hello bloggers. That is if anyone still comes by my blog. I have been real bad with keeping up. But what can ya do. Life has been busy. We are always on the go. We had a great weekend trip to Colorado. We got to visit with almost everyone. Went to the Colorado Springs Zoo, Ty's first time! Then we have been up in Kansas. Where Derek didn't work a whole week because of the weather. Then to Topeka Kansas for Derek's class. We also took Ty to another zoo in Great Bend. Which he loved. He stood awake the whole time. He loves to be outside and will stay up forever. Then to Oklahoma. Then back to Kansas. The joys of working away from home. Other then that we are all doing good. Ty is starting to do a lot more, and shocks us everyday. And of course is growing. I have a bunch of up to date pictures on facebook of him for those who would like to see him. Blogger never lets me post pics. Well I got lots to do and limited time to do it all in.

Almost A Month

Wow I can not believe it has been that long since I have posted. I guess it's hard to find time to these days. I have set down to blog a few times but have had to save them and forgot to go back to them when I was done tending to Ty. Well to catch up from what we have been doing lets see. Been in Kansas working. We had Ty dedicated. Ty got a cold a couple of weeks ago but is doing better. He has a smile on his face most of the time. And is growing and growing. He had his two month check up on Tuesday. And got shots. The worst thing every I must say. He now weighs 12 lbs, 7.5 oz. and 23 inches. It was are first time to stay in Oklahoma without Derek, and well it didn't go very well. I guess Ty missed his daddy and his routine and was pretty fussy while there. We are now in Kansas and he couldn't be more happy. He is sleeping about six hours straight at night now well most nights. Ty went to his first college football game and loved it. He really likes to be outside as well. We went for a walk the other day and he just looked all around. And other then that life is great. We will be going out to Colorado this weekend for a quick visit.

Summer Gone?

So I think summer left Kansas. It has maybe be 70 in the day and 50 at night if not colder. It is crazy. I think this is the first year that I am not ready for winter. The other night when we went to the store I got Ty his jacket and then Derek step outside and had me grab his. I took mine to just in case. Well Derek and Ty had there's on and well I needed mine on to but didn't. I am so not looking forward to winter and it is so strange. I am normally all for it. Here is my boys bundled up.

Okay. I now got my computer fixed. So maybe I can keep up better. TY had his 1 month check on Friday. He now weighs 9lbs 12.5ozs and is 22in. He is growing so much. The doc said he is perfect and can not believe how strong he is. He has grown out of almost all his newborn cloths and is moving on to 0-3 months. Did I say he is growing up way to fast and I want to keep him my baby forever. I would like everyone that can to remember me in your prayers. Since having Ty I have started having some major problems with my back. I don't know if they gave me a spinal block or what exactly but something is not right and I am in pain a lot of the time these days now. I am so sad but have come to accept the fact that we aren't going to be able to make it to the Assembly this year. I had been thinking we still had a chance but it is gone. Derek had to take to much time off with us having the baby. So we will have to wait till next year. Here is a couple of pictures.

Been Awhile

So it's been awhile since I last blogged. My computer got a dumb virus and I have been fighting with it to fix it. Then I get internet some days and others not. But anyway things are still going great. My little boy is 4 weeks old today and growing like a weed. It already makes me sad to think he is growing up. He slept the other night for 5 hours straight. Boy was that a treat. He now plays with toys. It is so cute. I am still trying to recover. It's funny but the past few days I have hurt more then right after having him. I don't know if it's cause I am trying to do more or because my stomach is growing back together. Other then that things are still the same. Derek is still working in Larned, KS. I don't think we will ever leave this town. But it has been nice to be staying in a rent house then motel. I have resent pictures but I just discovered I left my camera in OK. So the will have to wait. Well I hear TY calling my name.

Ty's first Sunday to go to Church.

Life Is Great.

So things have been going GREAT. We have got settled into our rent house in Kansas and have a somewhat routine going on. It has been kind of hard with all the running back and forth to the dr's for me and Ty but it is now starting to slow down. Each day it seem's like my little boy is growing and soon will be a big boy. He has started to hit at his toy's and also picks his head up and looks all around. Also he rolls back and forth on his side. It is so great. I can't even think of what life was before him nor can I go two seconds with out talking about him. Well I have a ton of pictures but blogger is not letting me upload them. So I will have to try the next time I get free time.

Lets See

Where to begin. It has been awhile. We have been up to a lot these days. From getting a truck to becoming parents. But I am sure most know that by now. We had our little boy Tuesday July 28th at 6:38pm. Coming in at 8lbs 1oz. 20.25inches long. Which I don't think anyone would have guessed. It has been a crazy time trying to get into a routine of things. Derek is an amazing Dad. He had to step up to the plate in full swing. Because I was not able to do anything. I was in labor 12 hours and then it was just not going to happen so I had to have a c section. But all is going well. So here is just a couple of pics. I have a ton already. Can you beleive that? False Alarm, Heat, 20 Days To GO!

Where to start. Okay the heat has been absolutely crazy hot. I'm not a big fan of it these days. And yet I was out in it all weekend. I am so dumb! Saturday we decide to go look at a truck we had seen in town. So we were out looking at that for hours it seemed. Well we didn't even go expecting to buy or anything like that but some how we might be doing that. The dealer ship let Derek take it to Kansas for the week to see how he likes it. Of course Derek is in love with it. And I must say it is a nice looking truck. So we shall see what happens this weekend with it. Then that night knowing it was well over a 100 out we went to the drillers baseball game. That was a rough one. Not the best idea when you are ready to POP! But we had a good time over all.

Now the false alarm. I don't know what the deal was last night but I woke up two in the morning with a weird pain. And the pains lasted off and on till five in the morning. I guess it's the start of false labor but I'm really not a fan of it. And I'm sure the people I woke up is not a fan of it either. I really don't want to just go into labor. I would rather it be planned. It is less stressful then trying to guess if I'm in real labor or not. And do I need to call the Dr or not. Or go to the hospital or not. I don't like it. Well that's about it.

36 Weeks And 27 Days To Go!

And the count down has began. We now have everything we can think for this boy. His room is complete. All we are doing now is waiting on him. Derek can't hardly wait. And is always asking if I am having contractions or if I think I am in labor. Derek has already put the base in the SUV and has packed Ty's diaper bag. We are both praying he will come when Derek is home or on his way home. It has been so hard on the both of us being apart. Last week when he left I was tore up and had a hard time dealing with it. This week was his turn. I couldn't stand hearing him sad and just wanting to come home. Asking me if I could think of any other way to do things for he can be here. It is so tough but it is the only thing we can do.

So in other things. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We did shopping in Tulsa on Friday. Then did somethings to the house and just hung out. We got together with the family for the 4Th, went swimming, watched fireworks and of course ate way to much. Then that was about it. Now it's Monday and not much is going on. I will be watching Ashton for the next few weeks so something fun and interesting should come out of that. Well have a good week!

Yard Sale Blues

So with the title you can guess right. We did not do good at the yard sale. It was a joke and not worth the time. It was so hot out that nobody was out and about. So we are going to have another one come September when it isn't as hot and I am not out there pregnant. Derek is in Kansas working and I am in Oklahoma=( The start to a month and some weeks apart. I am already sad and miss him so much. Lucky he has a short week this week and will be home Thursday night for a three day weekend. I go to the Dr on Wed. Then I think I will start my weekly check ups with him. It is getting close. My big long list of things that I needed for TY is now down to about 8 things. Which I thought would never happen. I hope to complete the list in the next two weeks. That's about it for around here. Have a great week.

4 Weeks & Rent House

Well for whatever reason I did see that blogger wouldn't let anyone comment. This crazy site. It also took me forever to put up those pictures. It must have been one of those days. Anyways. We got a Rent House! It is really nice. I was shocked when we went to look at it. It is a two bedroom new carpet and nice size kitchen and what not. And it is month to month and the rent is way cheaper then what we have been paying in motel. And ten times the size. The only sad thing is I wont get to stay in it for awhile. Because this trip to Kansas was the absolute last time for this pregnancy. I know that there is those that are thinking yeah right.lol But it really is. I got around 4 weeks left before this little one is in my arms! So in the mean time daddy will get it all set up for us. So as soon as we can travel we will be set. I am so happy that it is working out. That's about it for me I got to get this motel room packed up for the last time! I got a busy weekend coming up. We are having a yard sale. So I hope it wont be to terribly hot. Have a great weekend.

Past Few Days And Pics

So lets see. What has been going on. We spent the last week in Oklahoma. Getting house work done. I had a list a mile long and got everything done but two things. We was able to go fishing a couple of days. But couldn't stay out to long because the heat was way to much. I had another Dr. appointment and everything is going right along. I start my two week visits now. Then one week then baby time! This week is my last week to travel with my hubby before TY comes. I am not ready to be separated from him for around two months. It kills me to think about. But there isn't anything I can do. Also my baby shower was over the weekend. Vicky,Heather,and Gram did it for us. It was so cute! Thank You very much. Well that about sums up what we have been up to. Here is a few pics. Here I am at a whoppin 34 weeks. Ready to pop as some have been telling me.

People Are So DUMB & Make Me SICK!

So you are thinking what is going on. Let me explain the best I can. Today I went into town to do my weekly shopping. All goes well in the store. So as I am going to my car to put the bags up and leave, I notice a little kid in the parking lot just walking around. So I start to look to see if somebody is around. As this old couple next to me is putting things in there car but looking around thinking the same as me. It becomes clear that this child is by it's self. I am talking a 1 and 1/2 or 2 year old child. So the couple and me are talking and I go get the child and they go in and get a Walmart manager. The manager comes out and we look to see if anyone may be looking for a child and then go inside and page if anyone is missing one. Nobody comes up so then the police come and asked questions and what not. This little guy was so scared and didn't know anyone but seemed calm with me so when the cops took him from me he started to scream and cry. My heart was already broke that he was alone. And couldn't even Begin to understand how anybody could just drop there child off at a store and leave. So the pain and emotions was already running high and well being pregnant didn't help any. I asked the cops to wait for me to run back and get him some cloths and shoes because all he had on was a shirt and dipper. When I got back up there the manager said don't worry about paying for them its taken care of and if there was anything else I could think of that he might need to go get it and maybe a toy would help as well. Then once all the information was down and I was getting ready to leave the manager gave me a hug and asked if I was going to be all right and if I needed anything. We stood talking for a bit and both just couldn't believe someone would do that. When I got to the car I just begin to cry then all the way to the motel and then sat and cried an hour or so later. I still can't believe what happen. My heart is broken for this little child so helpless and alone. I just pray he will get a good home and not remember this and also pray for the parents because well they need Jesus!

Rent House Or Apartment?

As if our life wasn't crazy enough and beyond busy. We are now looking for a place to live. Where you may be thinking. Larned, Kansas. We have now gave in that there is no hope in us getting moved. Not for awhile any way. So staying in motel is becoming a bit much for us after eight months. And it just will not work for us once Ty is here. So we are looking for a place. We don't now if we want a rent house or apartment. Or just whatever is the best deal. I found somebody that is willing to do a 3 month lease then after that month to month. But we are not sure if we want to do that. We would really just like to do month to month just in case a move comes up. So who knows the fun never stops.

This week has went by fast. I got everything done Monday and Tuesday. I wouldn't of had my hubby not got rained out and went to do laundry with me. Love those type of days. We even was able to rent a movie and sit and watch it. It was nice for a change. Oh and best of all the rain brought in a cool front. In fact it was so cool I was a bit chilly. You can never please me. ha I think I am finally starting to get over this cold or I'm learning to deal with it anyway. Other then that has been my week thus far.

Still Sick

Well last week was blah, no sleep, way to hot and to much traveling! I still have this cold or sinus thing going on. And the past four or five mornings I have had no voice until the afternoon and even then sounds like I have a frog in me. So none the less it hasn't been the best. This weekend we visited with the fam and did a few things. We also picked up the changing table we ordered. Got it home to put together and it was broke. So when we took it back they gave us are money back and said we would have to reorder it again and have them send it again. That didn't make me to happy. But what can ya do. The two seconds it was there it looked and matched really good with his crib so I guess that is a plus. I think it is safe to say summer is here. It has been in the mid 90's for the past week and it doesn't seem to be cooling down any. And the bad thing is I have to get out in the heat a few times this week. I got to do grocery shopping today. Get the oil changed at some time and also I have to go to the laundry mat which is the real bad one. Because they don't have AC in the place. Well I need to get moving. It ain't getting any cooler out.

Blah!

So we are back in Kansas. We had a short but good time visiting. I can not believe how big the kids have got. Just wish we could have stayed longer. I woke up this morning sick. I guess it was the weather change and what not so I have been in bed all day feeling mighty rough. To top it off I was supposed to go to OK today stay the night and go to the Dr tomorrow. But the guy Derek rides with wasn't here so he had to take the SUV. So I would either have to drive and get in really late tonight or leave super early tomorrow. So I guess it is going to be super early tomorrow with me being super sick. Ugh. All of this was real poor planning. Well that's it for me. I'm gonna try and eat something and I am going back to bed.

We Are Off

To Colorado for the weekend to visit. This will be my last trip out there before this little boy comes. Being I was reading last night and I really shouldn't be traveling anymore to begin with. Well at least not 12 hours from my Dr. Being I have less then 11 weeks left. YIKES! Talk about scary! But anyways not much else happen this week. Oh we did get a call from the car dealership that we went to last weekend. There is a chance that we can get a car after all. So please please be in prayer for that. It is getting closer and closer for us to need a second car. Well I need to finish getting the room packed up. Derek is on his way now. Have a Great weekend.

Where To Begin and Pictures

Lets me start by saying Derek is off storm. I met him last Wed night to be exact. We stood that night in KS then headed to OK for a four day weekend. I would like to say it was a nice relaxed weekend but it was far from that. We got there Thursday and it was none stop we looked at a few cars found one we love tired to get it and it didn't work out. So that hunt is still on! Next we finally got registered well at one place anyway. It took well over two hours so I was not about to go to another store and take that long again. Then drum roll please! We got Ty's room done!!! After working on it all day Sat it's done. I spot painted all day and could hardly move the next day but it's complete. So with that I have the before and after pictures.

Lets See

No car hunt happen this weekend. But I think all of Ty's room is done now. And all we need to do is start setting it up. I say think because we didn't get to go to Oklahoma over the weekend. Instead I came to Colorado and Derek went on storm. Derek's dad went over on Saturday and worked on it. From the pictures over the phone it looks pretty good. So I will just have to wait and see. Which I can't hardly stand. So my weekend was good. I got to see a lot of people and family I hadn't seen in awhile. It was district convention here so I was able to go Friday night and Saturday morning. I was truly blessed. And was happy I got to go. So with that taking place and it also being mothers day some of the family from Craig had come down and others from town all got together for dinner and just visited. It was good to get to see them . Of course with all that going on I still missed my hubby. But what can ya do. I hope they get the work done soon for we can be together again. That about sums it up for now. We shall see where I'm at in a couple of days.

Car Hunt!

So the car hunt is on. We wasn't able to go look last weekend because of the flooding so I hope there is no rain this weekend. I have been online all day and think I found a dealer that has the one we want. Derek will be calling on it to see if it is to good to be true. We are having a hard time deciding on a car because if we are spending so much money on one we want it to be exactly what we want including all the little details. So it is not easy to find one. And the bad thing is we are kind of running out of time. So we shall see how this weekend goes.

Speaking of running out of time. It is getting closer and closer till the little one will be here. As of yesterday I went threw and made a detailed list of the remaining things needed for Ty. Talk about a lot of things. Derek says I am stressing about little things now. But even the littlest of things is needed and those are the ones that are forgot. Also we are needing to find a pediatrician for him and that is no easy job. Well other then that nothing else is going on. This week has been a quiet fast moving week. We will be going home tomorrow. For what I am sure will be a non stop weekend full of work and running around. Have a great weekend!

So Much To Thank Him For

Okay this weekend was a long one. To start off I had my Dr everything went great. Just as I thought no news was good news. I don't have sugar problems and I am measuring right on target and my weight gain is great. PTL for that! Then comes flooding. We could have been in serious trouble when we hit water on the highway and was going 50mph and it stopped us dead on the road. It was like hitting a brick wall. I called the highway department and they ended up shutting the highway down the rest of the day. Thank the Lord he keep us safe. In other things we got Ty's crib thanks to my dad. He called awhile back and said he wanted to buy that for us. So that was a huge help and one more thing to check off the list. We did start on the trim and base board but only got as far as getting them painted. But it is one step closer. Okay moving on because there is a lot of things left to write. Our Suv decided it was going to break and have problems Saturday so we had a big deal trying to get it fixed Saturday night and Sunday. After finding the problem and buying the parts two times we got it fixed. They broke the new parts once thus having to buy it twice.

Now the biggest thing to thank him for. Since Derek and I have been working in Kansas we have been praying to start a work here. A few weeks back we got an email about a man up in Wichita and him wanting The Church of God up there. So Derek talked with him and we are going to start Sunday school class with him. Well we started it last night. It ended up being him, his dad, his brother and two other neighbors he had invited. We did the lesson with them sang songs and Derek ended up preaching a bit. They are so hungry for the truth. And the two sons and dad are so loving and nice. We ended up leaving there house at 11:30pm. And that was because we still had a two hour drive to where the town we stay at is. Then today Derek got a txt message from one of the son's wanting us to call him tonight when we can both be on speaker phone and saying the truth is marching on and Thanking God. So please be in prayer for this work and these people and for us as this is a new to us.

Well this is a long post. And my little boy is letting me know I need to get some food. Have a good day.

Well lets see. The weekend came and gone. I didn't get anything done. Instead we went fishing Saturday morning and then that afternoon we went to Tulsa and did some shopping. The good thing though. Derek's dad called to see if we got them painted for he could come finish the room and we said no. So he is coming over this Friday to paint them and put them up. ha I guess he is tired of waiting on us. So if all goes well Ty's room will be done. Then I can start to set everything up. I can't wait. We got Ty's pack and play this weekend and got it set up. That thing took us awhile to set up. So this weekend we are going to drag out his travel system and see just how hard and long that will take us to get set up.lol It's great watching Derek try and figure it all out. So little by little we are checking things off the list. It's really starting to hit me that there isn't much longer.

This week has been long already. I had to go do laundry at the laundry mat yesterday because that was one of the things I didn't do on the weekend at home. Dumb me never again. Oh well live and learn. So everything here is flood from the rain. And it is supposed to rain the rest of the week. So if that is the case Derek will be off. Other then that not much has went on. Have a good week and try to stay dry.

Beautiful Week

It has been such a nice week. I went and cleaned the SUV. Talk about a job. I think that will be the last time for me this year. ha Then another day I went and got the oil changed on the SUV. Yesterday was 90 degrees. So I was only out for a little while. Then in the evenings it has been warm enough to walk so we have been doing that after dinner.

I haven't got a phone call from the Dr. nor have I called. I just figure if the test had come out bad I would have had a phone call. So I will just wait it out till I go in next week. Other then that things seem to be going good. I feel good other then the constant back pains. Ty seems to kick harder each day. I Love that little boy so much. In other things we are now on a car hunt. We are in need of a second car very bad and fast. We have one in mind it's just if we can get it. So we shall see what happens. If you think about please say a prayer that it will work out if it's the lords will.

We will be back on the road to Oklahoma tomorrow. I hope somehow we can get the trim and base boards painted this weekend. Everything was moving along fast and then it just seemed to be a dead stop. I am so ready for Ty's room to be done and set up. I have started to make a list of things that we need for him and that needs to be done and wow is it long. Well have a great weekend.

No News Yet

Well I went in Friday to take the test. Let me tell ya. It was the worst thing ever. So I didn't know exactly what they did for the test when I went in. Well know I do. You have to drink this HUGE bottle of stuff. Which is so gross! Then get your blood taken a total of four times. Unless your me then it's five times. Because on the fourth time I had no blood left in me to give so they had to try in another spot. My arms look so bad. Well with all that had to be done not eating was another part of it. So when I was done around 1:30pm I was beyound ready for food. So we are off to go eat. Well Derek wanted to try a new place so we went. To make a long story short Derek got to eat and I didn't. They messed my order up then sent out uncooked food and then I was just done with it all. I got so upset because lets face it a pregnent women with no food and no blood left in her body is not good. So we ended up getting the whole meal free and left. I did get to go to the mall and eat yummy chinesse food. But boy was it a day. The rest of the weekend is like a blur. So that brings us to today. I have waited all morning for the Dr. to call but nothing yet. So I don't know if they have got the results in yet or not. If I havent heard anything by Wednesday I will call them and see what is going on. Well I am in Kansas this week. It's good to be back with my hubby. Even though I had a good crazy week in Oklahoma. As you all know and have read on Heather's blog I'm sure. Well till later this week bye.

Bad News Bears

So it is never good to get woke up in the morning with a bad phone call. Yesterday I had to go and and take the glucose test. Which was not fun. Well they called me up first thing this morning saying my levels are high and I need to go back in for a more intense test. Not to mention I am low in iron and need to fix that as well. So now I have to go in for a three hour test and get more blood taken. I knew this was going to be somewhat of an issue with my family history and all but it still is hard to take in. So if you could please pray for me that would be great. So with all that said Derek will be on the road tonight when he gets off of work to go with me tomorrow for the test. Other then that the week was going good. The weather has been so nice for a change. That I have spent some time outside and have even got a little tan. Well that wraps things up around here. When I get results back I will be sure and update you all.

Well the weekend came and left way to fast. We got in Friday evening just in time to go eat and do some shopping. We spent all Saturday at Heather and Aaron's. Colored Easter eggs and then had a big cook out with the family. So I hope everyone had a good Easter. Ours was good. Even though it rained cats and dogs all day. We had a real good sunrise service then after service was over we went home and took a nap. After we got up Derek gave Ty his Easter basket. I know we are crazy but we couldn't not put a little something together for him. We did after all get him something for Christmas too. This little one is way to spoiled already. In other things I am in OK this week and Derek is in KS hanging out. I say hanging out because it is to muddy to work so he is off. It is going to be a long week for him and me both. I always hate being away from him. So here is a pic of how huge I am getting. I am now 24 weeks. A little over half way. Well that's about it for now.

It's Friday

I thought this day would never come. This has been a long lonely week. As I was so happy to get to a normal life again but after one day of it I was ready for people again. A week of spending 6:20am to around 7:30pm by yourself in a little motel room is not much fun. All though Ty does a good job at keeping me company. I have got to see kick threw my shirt. And I get to talk to him threw out the day when he is up. Which seems like a lot. Which makes me happy. He is going threw this thing where he will be kicking and when Derek goes to feel he will stop. Then Derek will no longer move his hand off and there is Ty kicking again. It makes me laugh. I will be staying in Oklahoma this next week because I have to go take a glucose test and get blood work. So I hope everything goes well. Derek will be all alone this next week in Kansas. Well I better get off here before Derek gets off early and I have nothing done. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a Great Easter. As far as I know when we left they where planning a sunrise service so anybody that wants to swing by Pryor for it is more then welcome 6:30am.

Well we are back to a normal life once again. And it is kind of nice. So what have I been up to. My Mom, her husband, and his kids came and stayed at our house for a week. While here he worked on the house and mom got the nursery all painted. Then we spent the rest of the week doing who knows what. Then they ended up getting snowed in a couple days extra. So while snowed in they ended up helping redo the wood floors being we had that scheduled in the day after they where to leave. Talk about a full house. So now all that is left to do is get the trim and base board up on the baby's room. Derek also ended up getting snowed in and was off all last week. So we just stayed around the house and cleaned and visited with the family. It was a nice week. We had youth convention over the weekend and it was very good. So that was short and sweet update. Or at least I hope. So I have pictures but want to wait until we get the trim and base board up for you can get the whole look.


So in baby news. We know what we are having. It's a Boy! He already has shown his personality just threw the ultrasound. As crazy as that sounds. He moves around like crazy. Derek finally got to feel him move a couple of weeks ago. He was so happy. Everything is going good and healthy for the pregnancy. I can say I had one good month of pregnancy and it was so nice. Because now I am fighting back pain. It is so bad I would rather trade it for morning sickness. If you can believe that. These days I am looking huge. You now it's bad when strangers ask if your about to pop! And then when others ask your due date and are like OH really I thought it was May or June not August. But the thing is I am just now at the weight I started the pregnancy at. Crazy yes I know. Well talking about weight. It is time for lunch.

Still Kicking

Just wanted to post real quick. I am alive and going. Keeping real busy. That is for sure. I will give details and pictures after the weekend is over and I get back to a normal going life.

My Weekend

Well we stayed in Kansas this weekend. Derek had class so we had to drive up to Topeka Friday for class on Saturday. We got in early Friday so we did some shopping where I found everything I want for the baby. So come next Monday after the ultrasound I will be back at the store buying it up. Then Saturday he went to class and I stayed in the room till check out then went to his class. He ended up getting out early so we decided to drive threw Wichita and have dinner there. We did more shopping to kill time before dinner. We ended up eating at Sumo which is Japanese steak house where they cook in front of you. Oh so good. I ate every bite that was on my plate. So Sunday we slept in till 9:30 then got up and cooked breakfast. Then headed into town. We had heard this town had a zoo so we went and checked it out.It was free to get in so that was even better. Then we had to go do laundry at the laundry mat. How I hate that. But we got it done then had to do grocery shopping for the week. I am never doing shopping on a Sunday afternoon again. It was so crazy. We got to are room to unload everything and still had daylight left so we decided to clean the suv completely. Was that a chore. It took us a couple hours we washed it, vacuumed, dusted the inside, put leather protecting on the seats, and some other things I can't really remember. So after that long day on the feet we came back to the room just in time for me to cook dinner. After dinner I could no longer stand. My feet where so swollen from the day and I was in pain. So my wonderful husband ended the night for me with like an hour and half foot message. It was so nice. The high and lows of pregnancy. WOW this was really long and I'm sure I full of rambling. Okay so here is a picture. I am 19 weeks and 4 days. For me to have not gained any weight but lost I am sure sticking out there.lol. Well it has been a very slow and very cold week. All I have done is stay under the blanket and cook dinner. The baby is moving more and more. It is truly amazing. Up until the baby moves you know there is a baby in there but it is never real real until you feel the movement. It is great. It makes me smile everytime. Well I gonna start to ramble if I haven't already. Or bore you so I am going to go.

I CAN FEEL THE BABY!

So the past few days I have been feeling the baby more and more. It is so exciting. The first time I felt the baby it just took my breath away. Of course Derek is sad and hates that he can't feel it. Last night after eating dinner Derek and I shared a chocolate bar and it seemed like shorty after eating it got to the baby. I don't know if it can really do that but the kick or movement was so strong it made me jump. And the baby was active for a long time.

So the rest of my weekend went down hill. The work stopped and nothing else got done or touched. The whole Saturday wasted and gone. So when we go back in two weeks I will have the unfinished work to do the evening we get in. Which is not very much time. I can't believe my mom will be here in less then two weeks. Not to mention in less then two weeks we will know what the baby is! And the nursery will be done. And we can start buying for this little one. Well that's it for now.

Update!

Well I went to the dr yesterday. But I didn't get to see him. He had just left for a delivery. So I seen a different dr that didn't do anything for me. So if my belly don't clear up by my ultrasound in 2 weeks I will be going back in. So I just get to deal with it. Other then that everything I guess is going okay. I did however lose more weight. So I am yet to gain. I don't know what they are going to try to do to get me to gain. With having these day's off we have got a ton of work done. We went and got lighting can's and redone the lights in the kitchen. I have done spring cleaning on the kitchen, dinning room, and living room. So tomorrow is the bedrooms and bathroom. Then I will be done. Well have a good weekend.

Please Pray For Me

So I have had an itchy belly and thought it was no big deal. Well then my whole stomach broke out into insect like bits. I started to do research and found that I may have pruritic urticarial papules or prurigo of pregnancy. They say 1 percent of pregnant women develop this condition but usually begins in the third trimester. They say it will go away once you deliver. So I don't know whats going on. I go to the dr for my four week check up tomorrow I just pray everything will be okay. It has me kind of worried. In good news we will get a four day weekend. So I hope to get a lot more work done. Well I need to get this room packed up and ready to go when Derek gets off.

Busy Is The Name!

Well we had yet another fast but productive weekend. We got the baby's room all the way cleaned out. And the carpet pulled up. Derek's dad came over to make sure the wood floor could be refinished. And he said it would be so easy to do. That the floor was in really good condition. I was so glad to hear that. And to top it off it's only going to cost us 80 bucks to do it. That's for the baby's room and our dinning room floor. While his dad was there he said we can do this and that to the room for real cheap so somehow it turned into a full room remodel. So in the coming up weeks we will texture the room, put new base board up, new trim, closet doors, entry door, paint, and the wood floor. Mind you this has to be done by the 22nd of this month because my mom will then be here to set up the nursery. We are so crazy. I can't believe I agreed to all that. I didn't want a big project. I guess there isn't anything I can do now. Everything is tore out of the room already.lol So that was are weekend. We are in KS now. This week is going to be in the high 70's I am so happy. I hope to get out a lot. I am feeling much better these day's. And just want to be outdoors fishing and grilling. Oh and day by day I am able to eat meat more and more. Okay that's it for now. Have a good start to the week.

Still Sick!

Well I still have a stuffy nose and a cough. It isn't near as bad as the past few days had been. So praise the Lord for that. I hope to be over it by Saturday being I got lots of things to do. As for the "morning sickness" I think I made it over the hump. I have been taking my prenatal all week and haven't been sick. So just maybe I'm done with that stage for awhile. Now my only problem is an itchy stomach. It is driving my crazy. And nothing I am doing is helping it. Other then that things are going. Derek's working away but doing good. He already has nice tan from this warm weather and I couldn't be more jealous. We will be off to Oklahoma tomorrow. So have a great weekend.

The Cold Bug Caught ME =(

Well I thought I was going to escape it but not so much luck. I woke up yesterday fine. Then in the afternoon it hit me. I must have sneezed 300 times threw out the day. So that lead me to believe that it was my allergies starting up early in the season. Then after dinner my throat started to kill me. Needless to say I was up all night long. I got a little bit of sleep after Derek went to work this morning. But now it's rough. The smallest coughing spell has me running to the bathroom because being pregnant you gag easy. And well I'm just ready for it to be over. So I hope and pray it wont hang out to long. With that I'm not able to get out and enjoy the warm weather. And I'm talking in the 70's warm.=( I guess there is always next time.

Very Productive

Boy was this weekend none stop. We got a lot of work done. We got in Friday and I cooked dinner then watched a movie and called it a night. Saturday we got up early went and got a tax's done. Then got to our house and the cleaning began. Got beds moved around. The guest room/office cleaned and almost all the way set up. Cleaned and emptied almost all of the baby's room out. I say almost because the big furniture Derek couldn't lift on his own so we will need to get help for that next weekend. But we are well on are way. I am happy we got a lot of that done. Of course my crazy husband starts saying all this stuff he wants to start working on. So I'm like okay that's fine. But he is wanting to start it next week, when we already have a hundred projects started but not yet complete. Awww. Men! So after talking we wont be starting anything else until what is started is complete. So lots of work was are weekend. Another good thing is I went all weekend sick free. I was even able to eat a little meat. But I didn't want to push my luck and over due it. But the thing is I stopped taking my prenatal because I have thought it might be causing me to be sick. So who knows. I am going to start taking it again this week and see what happens. If I get sick I'll know its from that and will be talking to my doctor next week at my appointment to get off of it and try something else I guess. That about wraps the weekend up. We are in Kansas Derek is working away and I hope to get out and enjoy the warm weather that they say we are going to be having. So Happy Monday!

It's Friday!

Well it couldn't have took any longer. I guess with this new run of sickness it makes the week drag. I don't know what I am going to do. Before I had warning that I need to head to the bathroom and real quick. Well there is no warning now. And well I will not go into details. But it becomes a huge mess. I know people say when in the mist of being pregnant they wont be doing it again and everyone says yes you will. I don't know if it will end up being true for this one. I truly understand why mom only had me. Because of her pregnancy being so bad. Now that I am being a crybaby I will move on. It's Friday weekend is here. In about two hours we will be on the road to Oklahoma. We are going to be doing are tax's. And since we have to get up early for that I hope to do some work on the house. I have got to get in gear. My mom will being coming out in less then a month to help do the nursery so I have to have the room ready. I also need to do spring cleaning on the whole house before she gets here. Lots and lots of work to do. Well I need to finish getting the room packed up and ready to go before Derek gets here. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Well we got absolutely nothing done this weekend like I had planned and hoped. But that's okay. We did have a nice weekend. We got in early Friday night so that was real nice. We watched Fireproof with Heather and Aaron and stood up past 1. Which these days its big for me to stay up that late. So with that Saturday I slept in. Derek got up ran to town to take care of somethings. I stood and did laundry and got ready. He had planned to go into Tulsa to Osaka for dinner. We did some shopping and had dinner. It was real good. Then we meet up with Heather and Aaron and did so more shopping at the mall. Then the big surprise came that night. We got back into town and he took me to the park. In which he told me to go sit down and wait for him. As he came up he had his guitar and handed me a rose and started to sing to me. It was so special. This was a first real valentines day we had spent together. Being all the others he was on storm gone. Or we lived in two different states. So what I guy. Sunday was a long day. We went to church and normally we leave to go to KS by 3 because of it being so far. But we had a special guest come and show us her mission trip to South Africa. So we stood for evening service. Then went out to dinner to visit. We got on the road around 8:00 that night and well its at least a five hour drive. So we got in to are room late. And to top it off I couldn't have been any sicker for the dive. I wont go into detail because it was not pretty. It has took me all today to try and recover from it. Okay if you made it threw all that rambling wow.

171 Days To Go!

So who ever says it gets better in there second trimester lucky you. And not so lucky me. Because it has seemed to get worse for me. I am sicker now then I have been the past three months. Of course this doesn't shock me. My mom said she was sick all 9 months with me and lived off of crackers, sprite, and apples. So lucky me. I am just counting down the days till I get to hold my little one. I hope to start to clear out the baby's nursery this weekend if the weather is nice. It is going to be a big project because Derek's office is where the baby's room is going to be. And once we get it cleared out we are pulling up the carpet. And when I say we it will mainly be my poor husband. Being these days I spend my time on the bathroom floor sick. I will try and remember to take pictures step by step of the remodel. So other then being sick nothing has went on this week. Just a lot of staying in the room. Tomorrow should be the fun day in trying to get the room all packed up to go to OK.

Due Date/Weekend

I made it threw the weekend. Man was it a long one. I was only sick Saturday morning though which I was thankful for. I think I ran on six hours of sleep the whole weekend. So today I made up for that sleep. It was so nice. Convention was so wonderful. I am thankful everything worked out for we could be there. I also made it to my doctor appointment. Which well I didn't get the best news ever. I am Due August 2nd right in the heat of the summer. If you know me I don't do good with heat. So with that due date it makes me 14 weeks and 6 days. Which means I am not near as far along as I thought. Which makes it seem longer. But oh well nothing I can do about it. Everything else checked out good for the pregnancy thus far. Well other then that we are back in Kansas. Here is a pic of the baby. We got a bunch but I will just put up one. But I will scrapblog them all.

Long Night/ He's Coming HOME!

I am not starting the day off very good. Last night I got a total of maybe 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I was up every hour getting something to eat because I was hungry all night long. I had strawberry's, an apple, pineapple, crackers, pickle and 2 waters. I was so restless. And what is worse I couldn't sleep in this morning. I was up bright and early at 6. grr. I hope this isn't going to be a nightly thing. Because this girl needs sleep. Okay moving on. I get to see my husband. I am so so very happy. It is some what of a shock though. Because we both thought it was going to be weeks. But it's not. So now the fun begins. He is on the road now. I will be leaving around 4pm to go to Kansas today. We are going to try and time it for when I get there he will be there. Then we will either drive 5 more hours to Oklahoma late tonight. Or get up around 4am and drive in the morning. Because I have to be at the doctor at 8:30am on Friday. So it is going to be a rough. So please please be in prayer for me. When I wasn't pregnant I got real sick when I didn't get much sleep so I can't imagine being pregnant with no sleep. We also have District Convention on Saturday. Then will be driving back to Kansas on Sunday. So it is going to be none stop from 4pm today till Sunday night. So if I make it threw the weekend you will here from me Monday.

Fast Update

Well Derek is working away. There is no word on when he is coming home. Just that he is going to be gone a long time. So just remember him in your prayers. I am in Colorado still and will be till Derek gets home. I have been sick a lot here lately. I don't know if it is cause the added stress or what but it has been rough. Other then that I have had a good time visiting.

Wait No Longer

Well Derek is going on storm. I think he is going to Missouri. I not real happy. But the lord is so great. I don't have to worry about driving long hours by myself. My dad is on his way right now as I type this to come get me. I talked to him and told him Derek was having to go on storm and he said what town are you in and what is the best way to get there. I am so thankful not just because I don't have to drive but I get to go to Colorado and visit with all my family. I don't have a big mess to deal with. All I have to do is get the room packed up and go. So that is what I am off to do. Please be praying for Derek as he is going on this storm like always it will be long hours in the cold with little sleep.

Pins and Needles

I am waiting on. Is Derek going to get sent somewhere on storm or not? So far no word that he is. And I am praying that he doesn't. I really don't want him to go. It is to much of a mess to try and figure out where I am going. And to hard these days to just jump in the car and drive for hours by myself like I used to. So we will see what happens. Derek finally gets to work today. And is so happy about it. He was so ready for it. I got him to play two games of hand and foot yesterday. Which helped pass time. Speaking of time. It's time to eat. Well try at least.

Snow, Snow, Snow

So lets see. The weekend flew by. We started home improvement project. We pulled up the carpet in the dinning room. To see what the wood floor looked like. It was not that bad. We just have to do a light sand and re stain it. We are also going to pull up the carpet in another room. I think it took more work pulling up the carpet and cleaning the floor then it will to sand and stain it. Other then that are weekend was over. So that brings us today. Yesterday was a lazy, do nothing day. It snowed all day long so Derek didn't work. Nor is he working today. Can you guess? It is still snowing! So he is ready to climb up the walls bored. He wanted to work today because he was so bored yesterday. I told him it would do him good to see what I have to go threw day in day out. hehe. I'm so mean. But it is so true. It is hard to do. So this is what we get to look at.I am praying Derek wont get sent off somewhere on storm. Because I hate when he is gone. It is so hard. Well there is still no meat eating for me. And I am still having sick day's here and there. More here then there. I got to my next appointment in two weeks. Where I hope to finally find out just how far I am exactly and get a due date. lol Not knowing is the worst. Well that's it for now. I going to see just how bored Derek is and see if I can rope him into some hand and foot=)
