Lazy

I have been pretty much just that. So I am now back in Kansas. After staying a week in Oklahoma. I had a good time. I got more work done on the house. Picked up furniture. Went swimming.Cut my hair semi short. Played and watched Ashton all week. And that's about it. For those that don't know Derek is back. After being gone a week and working over 100 hours he is home. He had Monday off so we slept in and stayed home watched a movie and that night went swimming. It was fun. It was nice one doing nothing two spending time together. I love days like that. It rained yesterday so Derek was off again. So we loaded up and went fishing in the rain. We caught fish all day. It was fun. Now I'm sitting thinking I need to clean but just don't want to. I'm still a little up set about this morning. I made blueberry muffins and coffee. Get my muffins go and get my coffee and I'm out of sugar. grrr And no matter how bad I wanted that cup of coffee I could not bring myself to drink it without. Now it is lunch time and I'm thinking about that. Maybe some left over PF Chang's. Well I am talking about nothing now. So have a good day.

Weather

Well Derek has been in Iowa since Monday. He is working at least 16 hour shifts if not longer. And they say he'll be up there for at least 7 days. But now the are talking about sending them to Texas to restore power there. Because of hurricane Dolly that is starting to hit down. So I am never going to see my husband again. It is never ending. Winter you have ice storms. Spring you have tornado's. Summer you have hurricanes. I guess fall is the only safe season. I knew I always liked that best. So I don't know I hate it. So I am in Oklahoma. If Derek does go to Texas I will end up jumping over to Colorado to visit also. My life is up in the air. Anyways not much else has been going on. I have been watching Ashton in the evenings. And that's always fun. You never know what he is going to do. Yesterday Heather, Ashton and me went swimming up at Tammy's. That was nice and refreshing. Ashton thought he could just float. And was trying to make us let go of him. He had a blast. Later this week I will be getting my sofa and the rest of stuff. Have a good day.

Hot Weekend.

Hope everybody had a great weekend. I got started on the texture in the hall way. It is looking pretty good. Or at least better then what it was before. We went to the Zoo in Tulsa on Saturday. It was fun. But way to HOT. It was just about the end of me. After we left we went to Mathis Brothers and ended up getting a sofa, love seat, coffee table, two end tables and two lamps. Then we went to the mall. Then went to eat at Olive Garden. Talk about a days worth of things. I still haven't recovered from it. Sunday morning we went to church but evening service we couldn't have because the air unit went out. And it was hot. Then when we got to Heather and Aaron's the air unit breaker or something had tripped so there air hadn't been working and we had a ham in the oven so it was heated up in the house real nice. Friday

Came way to fast. 4am to be exact. Boy was it a bad day to start the switch of 1/2 the caffeine in the coffee. I needed the full dose today. But didn't have any. I am trying to cut down the caffeine but I have to have my coffee so I found one made with caffeine still but much less. But back to the 4am. Derek had to go into work last night for a few hours. So when he got off we planned on loading up and driving to Oklahoma. So we did just that. He called me when he was leaving so I got up and showered and got ready. And we hit the road. I of course drove. Being he was up all night working.

Now we are in OK. When I got here I got the front yard of the house mowed. The front flower bed and bird bath area weeded. And now I am taking a break waiting on Derek to get up. For he can do the back. I have a ton of things I want to get done this weekend and as of right now I'm on a good tract. I plan on getting the hall way painted. Being we have put it off for almost three years now.ha Well have a wonderful weekend! I got work to do

What A Night

We went fishing yesterday when Derek got off. I had dinner ready when he got there. So we ate loaded up fishing stuff and went. It takes about 30min to get to the lake so we got there around 7:30pm. As driving and talking we didn't think anybody would be up there that late in the middle of the week. Wrong. But it was okay. Derek got his usual spot. And I somewhat got mine. He fish's up on top of the spill way. I fish on ground away from the spill way. But anyway. Every time Derek threw out his line he got a fish I wasn't doing so good so Derek finally talked me into go on top with him. So I caught some to..He caught this big fish and couldn't pull it up the wall so this guy that had a drop net came and helped. Then Derek caught three more big ones. That poor guy helped every time. Then right before loading up because it was dark. Derek got another huge one. 2o pound catfish. The biggest I had ever seen. That guy comes running over with his net. Well the fish was to big for that. So they walked all the way across the wall to the bottom were the guy got in the water to grab it.By this time it is 10pm. And Derek has to go to work. So we start to load up but have know clue what or where we are going to put this huge fish. So Derek wraps it up in a blanket and hold it in his lap. We should have cleaned them up at the lake but didn't. So bath tube it was. He cleaned them in the bath tube. 12am at this time. So finally after bagging and freezing all the meat. I go to cleaning the whole apartment bleach spray everywhere everything. I get the tube first so Derek can shower at 1:30am. And he had to work. It was such a mess and such a bad idea to go fishing that late. But who would have guess we would have caught so much and such big ones. Well now that everyone is bored out of there minds and can care less about all this fishing. Have a great day. Here's some pictures.

Home

We had a wonderful convention. The theme was fire fire fire fire, fire fall on me. I don't know how anyone could have left there without the fire burning. We stood an extra night there in Arkansas with some friends to visit a little more. And we ended up going rafting yesterday. It was fun. We didn't get done with that till after 4. So it put us on the road late. We just headed up to Kansas from Arkansas. So we got in late. We will be up in Kansas till Thursday. Then we will be back down in Oklahoma on Friday. They switched Derek's working days. Which we hate. Because we were able to stay till Monday each weekend so we were able to go to Sunday night service to. But Now we have to leave Sunday afternoon to be back for work Monday. I hope he wont be working that for to long. Well I need to get things unpacked and clean. I have a ton of laundry. It may take till next week to get it done. So I need to go.

Dream

Okay laundry is done and put up. I need to straightin up a bit and pack. But I got distracted. I got to thinking and wondering how much a trip would be to go to Greece. So i started to search for information on the net. It really isn't as much as I thought it would be. The flight is 783 plus tax. Which is not bad at all. And that's round trip. Hotel depending on how nice you want can run high but. There are cheap one's too. That look good. I my self would rather get a cheaper one anyway. Because I only plan on sleeping there. The rest of the time I would be out exploring.

I so want to get to saving and go. It would be awesome. It's a dream I now. But dreams come true right? So who knows maybe sometime next year I will be sitting down there blogging. AH

We got it

Our Suv is back home. After three and a half long weeks its home. I am soooo happy. Let's just hope it is fixed and we don't have to take it back. It all worked out. I had been so stressed about it because I thought we were going to end up having to pay a ton or end up having to fight with them about it. Ready for this all we had to pay was $106.30. Can you believe it. I can't. They even put a half of tank of gas in it. I was so shocked. The manger just charged us a misc charge. What's more crazy then that is they are paying out $2000.00 plus for the rental truck we have had for all this time. There fault though. If they would have fixed it the first time we wouldn't have had to take it back. Did I say how happy I am.

Now if only I had an apartment that cleaned its self and laundry that washed its self. I would be set. I am looking at it and don't want to do anything. I'm not even wanting to get up and get lunch. Is that bad. I'm still on vacation mode from this weekend. Ugh. Well I have got to get up and get somethings done. Derek wont be happy if he comes home and I haven't did a thing. So maybe I'll get lunch and tell him " I did to " do something. ha! Have a good day

Wonderful

Hope everybody had a good 4Th. I am just know getting around to blogging. I have been busy. We had a good time in Oklahoma. We went to a ball game in Tulsa and after they had a huge firework show. I think it was the biggest one I have ever seen. And all the junk food they have there. yummy:) While in OK we spent a whole morning trying to get our yard mowed and under control. And it still didn't happen. So we ended up hiring someone to do it for us. It was just to much work for the two of us. But we got it done and it looks great. While there I ended up calling the ford place cause it had been 3 weeks and I still hadn't heard anything about our Suv. So when I called I asked for the manger and had a long talk with him. When talking to him they still didn't know what was wrong with it. We enjoyed getting to see Ashton. He broke our hearts when we had to leave. Well i have so much work to get done and only have a couple of days to get it done before we go to convention so I don't know how blogging will be for me. Will see.

Counting

Well a week and a half and counting. We still have no Suv. It is crazy. You wouldn't think it would be that big of deal but I miss it. I can not believe how long it is taking. I am wondering if the problem is that big or if the people isn't the best there. Or maybe a little of both. But what can you do. It is out of our control. So we just have to accept it. And that is the hardest thing.

On other things today is the day. Bags packed clean apartment. We go to OKLAHOMA when Derek gets off. I am very happy. We are going to be getting our house together and putting it up for sale. It has been so hard on us with having the house and apartment. I will look for the day that we only have one house payment. And be able to breath. Well not much else going on here. I need to balance the check book and maybe pay a couple bills. Have a good day.
