Picky Eater
What do you do when your 2 year old turns into a picky eater? He has never been bad but all of a sudden he is awful. Dinner and lunch are the worst time of the day. He loves his fruits and veggies and will eat them no questions asked. But add anything else to the mix and he has a melt down. I can get him to eat ramen noodles, spaghetti and some times a corn dog. But that is it. He hates potatoes, roast, baked chicken and so on. Your normal kids food don't work.. Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, PBJ sandwich, hot dogs. It is so frustrating at lunch and dinner when you cook a meal and he don't like it. Then you give him a second choice and still won't have anything to do with it. So I finally said I give up! If he don't eat he don't eat. NO second option. I don't know whats worse force feeding him or just letting him starve. Kidding of course. So any kid friendly meal ideas are welcome PLEASE :-) This is driving me crazy.

I'm not sure what I would do eather....it's hard to make them eat at that age. HAHA...or any age for that matter I'm sure...!!!
At least he's eating his fruits AND veggies!!! That's SOOO great!!!
I'm kinda a health nut when it comes to Noah...lol...not so much for myself though. So wrong. lol....anyhow if I mention something you already know about don't mind me.... ;-) I like to babble about this stuff.
So....I'm having a hard time coming up with any healthy kid friendly meal ideas that he may like...other then broccli with cheese....and maybe a grilled cheese cut in small fun peices. Does he like dairy?? Yogurt would be good for him too....Hey, is he taking a multi vit.? I think if he's eating his fruits and veggies (veggies with lots of iron cuz he's not wanting meat)and if you can try and get soooommmmme graines in him( like whole grain noodles) then the multi vit. together, that will help a lot. ALSO, avacodo is SUPER good!! Lots of good healthy calories!! If you can sneak that in, it'll help keep weight on him.
The only other thought I have. Is maybe not give him choices. If he's not wild about one meal, he may know another option is on it's way and not eat. I know it's easy to say when it not my child.....but....maybe a little going hungery will help too.
His new pictures are ADORABLE! He looks healthy and LOVED!!!!
He does not do dairy! He was allergic to it when he was younger and now that he has grown out of it he won't have anything to do with it. I do give him a multi-v every morning. The whole grain noodles is a great idea. I never even thought of that. Avocado he used to love but not so much now. He is having no problem with keeping the weight though. Which is weird. I didn't give him a choice last night and he didn't eat anything;-/ Still hasn't and its almost 12 this afternoon. Thanks for the suggestions:-)
He wil grow out of some of his picky eating habits. Jeremiah finally has.
