Snowed in

Hey how is everyone doing? Better then us i hope. We are stuck in Dalhart, Texas. The roads exiting the town is shut down due to snow and ice. There was no hotel vacancy. So we are staying at a church with around 40 other people. So i don't know what the chances are for us getting to Colorado . Please be praying for us. The people have shown great hospitality, we are very thankful for that. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

Hi, Leandra! I just saw your blog address on Gracie's blog. She's the official Directory Assistance Blog for TCOG. :-) I stopped by to see if there were any pictures posted. So, now I'm wondering . . . did you make it to CO for Christmas? We, too, have been stranded in Dalhart. And Dumas. And Texline. And Clayton. Are there any other little towns between Raton and Amarillo? If there are, we've been stranded there at one time or another. Snow storms can be ugly through there. Mainly visibility can be ZERO! I'll try to stop back by here sometime and see if you, indeed, made it to Colorado safely. --You have one up on us, though. We've always managed to get a motel room and have never had to spend the night with 40 strangers. ;-)
