What A Weekend

My weekend began on Thursday afternoon. Derek had been off work Wednesday and Thursday due to hurting his back and not being able to walk. So Thursday morning we got up and headed for home. Only for our suv to brake down two hours down the road! We where  between towns about 16miles to one and 30 from the other. In at least 100 degree weather. But thankfully some workers of KDOT stopped. Only because the seen we had a baby. But any way the called a sheriff and he came and picked us up and took us into town to the station. Where we waited 4 hours for Derek's dad to drive from Oklahoma pulling a car trailer to load up are dead car. But we made it home around 9. We still don't know if the engine is blown or what is wrong with the suv. We are waiting till after the assembly to worry about it. Next comes Friday.  We got to sleep in till 9. Which was great. I did 3 or 4 loads of laundry. Then got ready to go into Tulsa. Tyler had his one year check up and shots. Well the Dr office was having problems and we where there for 2 hours. Then talking to the Dr about Tyler's food allergies. He said he wanted to do some blood work and get a complete list of what all he is allergic to. So that meant going to the children's hospital for blood work. But that had to wait because we had to rush to go get Tyler's birth certificate. Where that took 2 1/2 plus hours of waiting. There was well over a hundred people there waiting to get them. CRAZY! Not something you want to wait last minute for. I thought I was gonna have to beg for it when closing time came and I still was waiting in line. But they just locked the doors for nobody else could come in.  After getting it we headed to the hospital for them to draw blood. My poor boy. Two shots plus blood work. Not his day. I was so threw with town I just wanted to go home. Plus Tyler was getting fussy from his long day. So the last minute shopping didn't happen. Saturday. We slept in till 11. I think. But that was only because Tyler was up all night. Once we got up and around it was full on house cleaning. We finally got everything unpacked from the move last month. I did not leave the house once. We even ordered pizza. I got so much done. Then that evening we packed for the assembly. We wont make it home before we leave so we had to load everything up and take it with us. After that long day I was up with Tyler all night yet again. (him teething) So come Sunday morning  my alarm goes off for church and I just turn it off. Can you say late. Now Monday is here and all is going nice.
