Snowed in

Hey how is everyone doing? Better then us i hope. We are stuck in Dalhart, Texas. The roads exiting the town is shut down due to snow and ice. There was no hotel vacancy. So we are staying at a church with around 40 other people. So i don't know what the chances are for us getting to Colorado . Please be praying for us. The people have shown great hospitality, we are very thankful for that. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

Just wanted to tell everyone Merry Christmas. We'll be off to Colorado in a couple days so i don't know how well we will be posting. But I'll try. And hopefully we will get some pictures on here when we get back. We love you all. Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday

HI everyone. Hope all is doing well. We would like to frist say Happy Birthday to Isaac. He has made to 3 years old, which is kinda surprising if you have ever met the kid. He is not afraid to do anything, which is definately cute, but kinda scary at the same time. I can't wait until we go out to Colorado. We are both very excited. We will get to stay for just over a week, which is just fantastic. We haven't been out there to see Leanndra's family in a year, so you can imagine how excited she is to go. Now I have my own incentive to go. I get to go see Dustin and Jamey, and of course Isaac and Aleah. But despite missing them i am glad they are there, because that is where God wants them and as long as they are doing His will, that's really all that matters. Now we just have to pray that either God will send them back over this way, or that he will send us and of course Aaron and Heather that way. But we will see how that all works out. Well Leanndra finally finished her shopping. It took two long days, with no parking and long lines. I still have to finish up with her stocking stuffers, but other than that I am pretty much finished. She is going to be so surprised. Ha Ha. I love it. Just as everyone suspected we didn't have to mess with snow on the ground, because we live in Oklahoma and snow only stays on the ground for like 1/2 a second. Although we miss the snow we are happy we didn't have to shop in the it. Because while it is great, driving in it is not so much fun. But playing in it definately is. Sorry it's been awhile. I have had a head cold, and Derek has been trying to catch up on sleep from being on call and getting a total of maybe 10 hours of sleep for the whole week. So it has been lifeless. But were up and going again. Doing last min. Christmas shopping. Family, VLB and Church Christmas party's. And counting down the days till Christmas for Derek. As for my counting down the 29Th Colorado. It has been a year since i have got to see my family. So I am very excited. As for the vaction, well Heather you should jump in.

Snow,snow, and more snow

We got a bunch of snow last week. This causing the last three church services to be canceled. So without it my days have been mixed around. The snow has caused more trouble then enjoyment. The roads have been very bad to get around. Derek has had two very close encounters to catastrophe. This being very scary for me. I got to try the famous snow ice cream everyone had talked about. And I must say if you haven't tried any I suggest you to. It is very good and real easy to make. ( get a bowl of fresh snow and mix a can of eagle brand milk, vanilla, and sugar to taste)

HELLO BLOGGERS

Well we finally decided we would get with times ( at least somewhat anyways). So we thought what better way then to do this internet stuff, which we really don't understand, but who really does? If you figure it out shoot it our way. There is no better way to do it then when your snowed in and can't go anywhere. Here we go, we hope you enjoy our crazy life as much as we do.
